THE JOURNEY
“I remember finding an old Medical Encyclopedia in the dumpsters when I was young, and reading it like it was a children’s book” Olga mentions. From a young age, she knew she would head into the medical field. It was the summer of 1997 when Olga stumbled upon one of Dr. Rosenthal’s lectures on the Introduction of Homeopathy. Her journey into homeopathy began. EDUCATION
After completing her training at Baku Medical College No. 1 in Azerbaijan, Olga worked as a nurse in the Internal Medicine Department at Bnai Zion Medical Center in Haifa, Israel. She continued taking additional courses in sociology and psychology at the University of Haifa. As her years as a nurse progressed, she became frustrated from seeing so many of the same patients returning with the same symptoms. Just a few weeks following Dr. Rosenthal’s lecture, she enrolled in the 3-year course: Classical Homeopathy for Medical Doctors and Para-Medical Professions. This was a joint program between the Health Sciences Continuing Education Center at Bar-Ilan University and “Medi-Cin” College for Alternative Medicine. Following her completion of the program, Olga moved to the Chicagoland area and completed her clinical internship in homeopathy at the Integral School of Homeopathy in Lombard, Illinois. She began consulting in the United States in 2000 and continues furthering her education through courses and seminars around the country. Her previous courses include:
LIFESTYLE
Outside of the office, Olga enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and their guinea pig, Cappuccino. Together they love to paint, explore the outdoors, and travel the world. She especially enjoys finding hidden gems in Chicago – particularly coffee shops and bookstores. She is an avid bookworm (always looking for new book suggestions!) and can be found on her yoga mat at CorePower Yoga every week. (Click here to see Olga's favorite fiction books!) Olga also loves innovating healthy, organic recipes in the kitchen, and cannot go a day without exercise. She leads a monthly Homeopathy Club in the Chicago Suburbs (Tea with the Homeopath). Homeopathy has undoubtedly been a foundation in her home – her family cannot imagine their lives without it. |
